For the “MIMS Download Instructions” please use the info below:

OCTOBER 2017 MIMS Update — for VERSION 24 and above ONLY.
Users on ZEDMED VERSION lower than 24 MUST update to at least version 24. Ensure that the Firebird ODBC driver is installed prior to applying this updated MIMS file. You will need a password from MIMS to run the update, please call MIMS on 1800 800 629 or (02) 9902 7770 to obtain the password.

Follow these steps to download the October 2017 MIMS for Zedmed Clinical System:

  • You MUST be on your Zedmed database Server
  • Click on the MIMS Download button below
  • Save the file onto Desktop or other known location (It may take 5 - 45 minutes depending on your internet connection)
  • Ensure all users LOG OUT of the Zedmed Clinical System
  • Double click on the file downloaded and apply with the password provided by MIMS
Installations

Important note: The Zedmed installer is to be used ONLY for new installations, not upgrades from existing installations. All Zedmed software version upgrades are only available to download from the Client Login Portal under the 'Software' section.

What do I need to allow prescribing from within Zedmed?
You will need to register with MIMS: complete the subscription application form downloadable from this link and fax to MIMS with payment details.
How often do I need to update MIMS?
MIMS release a file every month. You will receive a password from them to use in the MIMS download found in the downloads section.
On what date each month does MIMS expire?
MIMS will expire on the 10th day of the month. After this date, you may not be able to prescribe.
Does Zedmed support uploads to Ehealth?
Yes, Zedmed is fully integrated and supports uploads to Ehealth.
I have a new doctor starting in the practice. Can I purchase additional licenses for the user?
Absolutely. You can do this by contacting one of our friendly sales team on 1300 933 000.
Do you support transmissions to AIR?
Yes. The AIR functionality was added in Version 25.1.
